Save the Date for the Midwest Medical Student Symposium


The Midwest Medical Student Symposium, hosted by Ohio ACEP, is a great event for medical students considering emergency medicine (EM) or preparing to match to an EM residency. This one-day event will be held in conjunction with Ohio ACEP’s Residents’ Assembly on August 14, 2024, at the Hilton Columbus/Polaris Hotel in Columbus, Ohio.

Planning for the event is underway and sessions will include:

  • What Type of Residency is Right for Me?
  • How to Create a CV and Personal Statement
  • Rocking the Interview: How to Stand Out


During lunch medical students will have the opportunity to ask questions and hear from a panel of residency program directors.

The event includes an afternoon residency fair where attendees will get the opportunity to meet one-on-one with residency directors and faculty members from Midwest EM residency programs.
